Sandra Cobena for Representative

Sandra Cobena, a senior manager at one of Canada’s leading commercial banks, is the Conservative Party’s candidate in Newmarket-Aurora. With a strong background in advising Ontario-based companies on a wide variety of financial strategies for mergers, acquisitions, growth, and restructuring, Sandra brings a wealth of professional business knowledge to the table. Her academic credentials are equally impressive, including an Executive Global Master’s in Management from the London School of Economics, which included modules in China, India, and the UK, and a Double Honors degree in Global Commerce and Finance from Western University.

Beyond her professional achievements, Sandra is deeply rooted in the Newmarket-Aurora community having first moved to the area shortly after she immigrated to Canada from Ecuador as a teenager and having lived in the riding longer than anywhere else in the world. A dedicated wife and mother of three, she embodies the family values and community spirit central to the constituency. Her candidacy is driven by a vision to reverse the impacts of the Liberal Party’s governance by addressing government excess, tackling the affordability crisis and prioritizing local interests.

Sandra has said: “It’s about rolling up our sleeves and crafting a Canada we’re proud to pass on — a Canada that remains the land of opportunity and hope.”
