Biography

Pauline Rochefort is a Canadian politician, business leader, and community advocate who has played a significant role in Ontario’s political landscape. A dedicated member of the Liberal Party of Canada, Rochefort was elected as the Member of Parliament for Nipissing—Timiskaming in the 2025 Canadian federal election, succeeding longtime MP Anthony Rota. Her uncle, Paul Rochefort, served multiple terms as East Ferris councillor and reeve, while her cousin, Bernard Grandmaître, was a provincial cabinet minister in Ontario. Rochefort pursued higher education at Laurentian University, earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree, followed by a Master of Business Administration from the University of Ottawa.
